There’s another integral aspect of the imprinting upon our psyches we have for peacekeepers, particularly as we matured as a country in the 20th century. It’s certainly a systemic phenomenon here in our culture. I can’t speak for Europe or Pan-Asia or anywhere else, but I feel pretty confident in generalizing this deal to the United States, or rather, to postwar America after 1950, and the proliferation of televisions in every American home.
